a book inspired by the remarkably close relationship
of two real-life neighborhood companions
Austin, the Sheltie, and Charlie, the basset hound.

This doggie drama have children ages
2 to 7 yapping about this tail-wagging adventure.
The Beach Adventure tells of the duo’s travels
in their Pawmobile to a California beach
where they play with their favorite toy,
Mr. Stretchie.

Much of the story’s action mimics the pair’s
own interactions, such as Austin’s real-life tendency
to “walk” Charlie on his leash in order to keep
him out of trouble.

The Beach Adventure is the first of a series of
wacky exploits of the canine duo and has made a hit
among children and adults. The book tells a story of
two best friends having fun at the beach and
offers its readers interactive fun as well as
educational facts about their discoveries and
surroundings, the adventures began.
